I’m a visual and media artist with a background in film studies, but more importantly, I’ve been a film obsessive my whole life. Movies have always been my way of seeing the world—the ones that linger, the ones that fade, and the ones that surprise you with something you didn’t even know you were looking for.

What I write here isn’t definitive or highbrow. It’s just my take: sharp, opinionated, and rooted in respect for cinema as an art form. I gravitate toward the messages films don’t say outright, the way they reflect culture and society, and to the simple and the self-aware.

I believe having opinions on art matters. Without them, we don’t challenge each other or push into new creative arenas. So this is me, adding to the conversation. This is what made me grin, what made me roll my eyes, and what made me think long after the credits.
